Intel has said it will share much more particulars on incoming Xe Graphics by using the formal Intel Graphics account on Twitter, permitting us know this in a now deleted tweet.
Intel tweeted: “You’ve waited. You’ve puzzled. We’ll deliver. In 20 times, be expecting much more particulars on Xe Graphics.”
As pointed out, the tweet has considering that been removed, but there is a very good prospect that we will still listen to some data drop on Intel’s incoming graphics tech, we reckon, given how business and specific the information seemed to be.
The tweet emerged the day prior to yesterday, as Tom’s Components stories, so that means theoretically, the day to mark on your calendar is August thirteen.
The query is, assuming the function or presentation goes in advance, will Intel be delivering much more particulars on integrated Xe Graphics, or on the entire-blown discrete Xe GPU which is also inbound?
Of course, we really do not know, but we can but hope for much more particulars on the latter, looking at that we’ve by now experienced some bits and parts drop about integrated Xe Graphics. A short while ago, an Intel exec shared a video clip of Battlefield V running reasonably properly on a thin-and-gentle Tiger Lake laptop at high particulars.
A little something large this way will come
We have by now heard that Intel has an function prepared for September 2 which will be “something big” to quote the corporation, and the expectation is that Intel will be demonstrating off its Tiger Lake processor line-up with integrated Xe Graphics as pointed out.
That is another motive, perhaps, why we might listen to something about the discrete GPU on August thirteen, if a important function is coming on Tiger Lake and Xe integrated graphics quickly just after (theoretically, anyway – until that September reveal turns out to be something else, like an initial teaser for Rocket Lake CPUs, although that looks unlikely).
