This is what is highly anticipated for iPhone users, Apple officially announced the latest version of its mobile operating system, namely i0S 14 on Tuesday (23/6/2020) at WWDC’s Worldwide Developer Conference (2020) which was held virtually.

iOS 14 comes with a number of the latest features, some of which have been present in the Android operating system for a long time, this operating system is said to be released at the same time as the good iPhone 12 deals.

This smartphone is Apple’s much-awaited breakthrough in the world of gadgets and apple smartphone users, which uses the iOS 14 system which they will launch together.

Apple for the first time presents a widget feature on its mobile operating system via iOS 14. Users can find widgets on their home screen by simply swiping the screen to the left.

Just like Android, users can also choose various types and adjust the size of the widget as desired on iOS 14. Users can also install more than one widget on their respective home screens.

Another new feature that is familiar to Android users is the App Library. This feature is similar to the App Drawer feature on Android, which itself organizes installed apps by category.

Several application categories will be grouped automatically on iOS 14, such as suggestions for frequently used applications, recently added for new applications installed, social media, entertainment, and so on. This grouping certainly makes it easier for users to access applications.

Apple also presents a picture-in-picture (PiP) feature on iOS 14. This feature has been present for iPad devices, and now we can feel it on iPhone smartphones.

PiP allows users to watch videos, including video chat on a small screen while opening other applications on the cellphone. Previously, iPhone users could only enjoy features like this when watching videos using Youtube Premium.

Apple’s artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant, Siri, is claimed to be smarter on iOS 14. Users can ask Siri to send voice messages via iMessage.

Apple has improved Siri’s transcription capabilities from voice to text. The user’s voice will be processed directly on the device with the support of a new application, namely the Translate App.
